In 2023, the WHS regulations were amended in the harmonized jurisdictions to include specific requirements with regards to the management of psychosocial risks. They outline:

- The legal responsibility for PCBUs to manage psychosocial risk using the risk management process and the hierarchy of controls
- The matters that PCBUs must take into consideration when managing psychosocial risk
